As the 2026 female lacrosse season continues to build momentum across Alberta, attention now turns toward the upcoming CDLA Playoffs.
Beginning June 20, teams across the U13, U15, and U17 divisions will compete for the opportunity to advance to the Alberta Provincial Championships.
The intensity, development, and competitiveness within the female game continues to rise each season, and this year’s playoff race is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet.
The winner from each division:
will earn the opportunity to represent their division at Provincials hosted in Blackfalds from June 26–28.
Provincials continue to serve as one of the premier weekends in Alberta minor lacrosse, bringing together the top female teams from across the province to compete at a high level while continuing to grow the female game.
Provincial weekend will also feature Game Three of the All-Star Select Series.
The Select Series has continued to showcase high-level female lacrosse talent while creating additional opportunities for athlete development, exposure, and collaboration within the female game.
The first two showcase games highlighted strong competition, skill development, and growing depth within Alberta female lacrosse.
The continued growth across Fury divisions and throughout CDLA reflects the increasing momentum behind girls lacrosse in Alberta.
From grassroots development at U9 and U11, through to highly competitive U15 and U17 divisions, female athletes continue to raise the standard of play while building stronger pathways for future generations.
